T-Star 245 - Maintenance - Factory Reset

Factory Reset

The Restore Defaults button can be used to restore factory configuration for a device that has become inaccessible. The Restore Defaults button is located under the plastic cover next to the battery pack.

1. Open the case by pressing down on the release tabs simultaneously on each side of the modem, then lift and remove the top casing.

2. Locate the Restore Defaults button next to the battery pack, press and hold the Restore Defaults button for 5 seconds.

NOTE: Restore Defaults will restore network configuration to the factory defaults as describe in the "T-Star 245 - Setup - Connecting to the T-Star 245" reference materials.  No project data or other configuration is modified during a restore defaults. This will also restart the Tipify service which can take up to 60 seconds
